Wednesday June 27 2018
Today will be cloudy with multiple showers and storms. We have a marginal risk for storms to turn severe, but a good chance to get wet and maybe have lighting with strong thunder. See the radar simulation below. It will be more like mid spring than early summer. The weather is active and temperatures will be 5º to 10º below average as some areas may not get out of the 70s.
Questions have already come in for the weekend and I have one word for that: Hot! If you have a party, plans for the pool, or the beach, temps will be back into the 90s while the coast will be in the mid 80s.

We already have some showers this morning. The primary focus will be during the afternoon and evening. Locally there will be a better chance for slow moving storms in southern PA and the western mountains. Central Maryland will get a better chance for heavy rain tonight.
