Wednesday July 26
High Pressure is in control, located over New York and Pennsylvania and helping to keep us cool again today. There is almost a hint of autumn in the air with 50s starting the morning to the north, and the winds wrapping around and pulling in from the east off of the ocean and Bay. It will be much cooler along the beaches and Delmarva today was temps stay in the 70s. But there is also a boundary that has ignited a narrow band of showers right along the western shore of the Chesapeake. Here is that set up on Doppler Radar from south Baltimore into Anne Arundel County. There is little movement with this… and it is very localized. Inland temps should get back the 80s today. Tomorrow is when the action returns for most of us.

Storm Threat Returns:
The next piece of energy will be pushing in a round of showers Thursday evening. This could produce some severe weather as the swarm front arrives. However, it will be an area of Low Pressure passing over our region that will keep the risk around into Friday as some areas could see heavy rain. The showers might linger into Saturday, then clear out for the rest of the weekend.
Rain Timeline (Suggestion)

The suggested track here shows heavy rain on the north side of Low Pressure, while the severe storm threat would be in the warmer sector to the south…
