There was a little storm Saturday morning the passed over the Chesapeake Bay and developed a waterspout. This was a long rope that made splashdown and was seen by countless people. It was eventually identified by the National Weather Service with a Tornado Warning. As it crossed the water and may have made landfall on Kent Island and the Eastern Shore.

Most waterspouts do not make landfall and have winds of 40 to 60 mph, much less intense than a tornado. But if it breaks the land barrier, it can cause problems. On water, I would still steer clear… And these views were far enough away to be safe.

This was seen by countless people, and I was overwhelmed by the amount of images I received. I was able to break it down to 13 photos and compile this video (below) of a few more vantage points. Here are just a few pics and more below the video.
