Friday June 30

As we close out the month of June, typical summer weather has built back in and you should already notice the humidity this morning. That does come with the risk of thunderstorms, but at this point it does not look widespread. The next two days may be a little bumpy, but we dry out again as we stay hot Sunday. The beaches will hold on to the rain threat that day, but July 4th looks good for the entire region.

The simulated radar shows a cluster of storms west of Baltimore this afternoon. I do not endorse this as being perfect, but it is a gauge for the timing and track to the northeast. So it is important to watch the radar after noon to see where these showers develop.

Severe Storm Risk

Saturday Storms?

Again, we have a slight risk of storms that could turn severe, but this looks like a quick hit, not an all day event. I would suggest a morning shower possible and then again mid afternoon.

Temperature Outlook

The long stretch of low 90s… just a few degrees above average and typical July weather. Nothing unusual except that it will be dry. Only a small chance of isolated afternoon storms much of next week.
