We couldn’t hold on to the cooler air for long. The front is on the way back through today and bringing some morning showers with it. A larger band of storms will build this evening and that might impact your BBQ and the Orioles game.  Following that very wet May, Baltimore has only recorded 0.14″, -1.66″ this month. We are due and will make up for some of that this weekend. The threat of showers will be with for a few days, with the most widespread redeveloping on Fathers Day evening and into Monday.  That will be the increase in our threat for severe storms.  By then, we could see highs in the mid 90s with Heat index values approaching 100ºF. The store is closing for the season. Next week we wil be shifting back to spring mode. This will include a severe weather STEM assembly program.
