Friday June 9

There is a full moon this morning and many schools have their last day. At least as temperatures warm up, the heat wave is not here yet… but it is certainly on the way.  Temperatures will be back near normal as we reach the lower 80s. The coastal storm is departing, and waters are rough. But if you are heading to the beaches, the waves should subside just as the heat arrives.  We are expecting 4 or more days in a row in the 90s. At some points, heat index values could be pushing 100ºF.  Yup, this is the real deal!

Today:

Saturday:

Showers likely to stay north. Only an isolated shower may creep into northern Maryland by afternoon

The 90s should be by Sunday, then most of next week.

Our 3 year anniversary of the release and our contribution to STEM education is this November. It has been downloaded in 60 countries, and works in both temperature scales. With your support we can expand on the fun introduction to science and real weather.
