Sunday November 27 – After a cold start today, a quiet and mild afternoon is in store for the Ravens home game in Baltimore. Then the pattern will get active as High Pressure slips off of the coast and two waves of Low Pressure will pump in three days with rain. The potential rainfall has increased with over 2 inches across much of central Maryland and southern PA possible.  Much of the eastern US is growing desperate for rain with increasing drought conditions.  A few inches of rain will quell wild fires and fill reservoirs a bit. This all comes on the warm side of the jet stream. But if your are wondering about the pattern change and early winter, we must take two steps forward and one step back. The next shot of cold air will arrive by next weekend.

Below is a look at the storm tracking slider and changing pattern this week. Also- FITF gear including new flannel PJs printed inside out and snowsticks are ready for holiday gifts. See the links on the store page.

Weather Pattern:

Beginning of the warm up starts with High Pressure sliding off of the coast

Temps will reach in the upper 60s to near 70F and the chance for T’showers mixed in with the rain mid week.

The warm up with the rain is all based on the storm track and jet stream set up. Colder air will return by next weekend.
