Massive wildfires have hit the Carolinas and we have growing drought concerns locally. This month of November has brought a fraction of what we normally could expect. Baltimore’s BWI recorded 0.22″ of rain, which is -2.73″ below the expected mark for the month. Since September 1 the total is -4.95″ of average. The two systems on the way this week are part of a larger pattern that could result in 2 inches or more of rain. This will be spread out between Monday night and Wednesday night. It will come with warm air and a chance of some thunder, then another cold snap into next weekend that could bring flurries Friday. Here is a quick look below:
