Sunday November 27 – The mention of rain should conjure good thoughts, regardless when it arrives. Massive wildfires have hit the Carolinas and we have growing drought concerns locally. This month of November has brought a fraction of what we normally could expect. Baltimore’s BWI recorded 0.22″ of rain, which is -2.73″ below the expected mark for the month. Since September 1 the total is -4.95″ of average. The two systems on the way this week are part of a larger pattern that could result in 2 inches or more of rain. This will be spread out between Monday night and Wednesday night. It will come with warm air and a chance of some thunder, then another cold snap into next weekend that could bring flurries Friday. Here is a quick look below:
