Brief Break From Heat And Humidity

July 11 – Happy Seven – Eleven! Today’s date may get you a fee slushy or low admission to Six Flags, but it’s not the typical summer heat you from which you will need relief. This is normally the hottest week of the year, and while it will be warm, the low humidity is quite comfortable. Temps in the mid 80s for a few days, will eventually give way to that summer stuff returning. The humidity will be more noticeable tomorrow, then showers and thunderstorms will creep closer Wednesday. The temps will build back into the 90s for the second half of the week. Here is a quick look at what we can expect.

The weekend is still questionable as some models are keeping the 90s, while others are showing extensive rain and storms that would likely result in lower temps. So I will expand on the outlook later day.

Temperature Outlook:

Notice the ‘?’ I placed for the weekend. I am not confident in this based on the potential for another round of storms on Saturday. I left that out of the slider above to make sure I can see the latest model run and assess later today.
