Friday June 17 – There will be no prolonged heat waves in the near future. Not for us at least, but I am sure you will hear plenty about the forecast of 120°F for Phoenix. I wanted to start with that since the weather pattern this Fathers Day Weekend will be a signal that our weather is still under the main influence from the north and east.  The lingering rain this morning will slide to the south. If you are heading to the beach, it might last until just after lunch, but improve. What will follow will be High Pressure and an a cool northeasterly wind. So instead of mid 80s, highs by the water will barely be in the 70s.

There will be heat briefly next week, but another cool down on the way. Here are the maps
