Wednesday May 11 – There was a cluster of thunderstorms overnight that already dropped about half an inch on metro Baltimore (0.59″ on BWI). Most of us slept through that, but the atmosphere has more on the way today after starting with some fog and drizzle this morning. We are still well east of the severe storms, but another band os steady rain will edge our way. Here’s the radar simulation… more notes below.

Steady rain mid day and afternoon.
Heavier rain will be in southern Maryland and Virginia.
There will be more rain for a few days, which will make for nearly three full weeks.
Severe Storms remain in the Midwest, but we could get some thunderstorms Friday and Saturday.
