May 10 2016 – Severe storms that have ravaged the central US continue to erupt with tornadoes and large hail threat today. This is a violent weather pattern which has shifted to the east today, as highlighted in this Enhanced Risk for storms from NOAA. The main focus is on Kentucky and the Ohio River Valley. The cool rain that we continue to have is actually on the stable side of a stationary front. But some of the remnants of these storms will charge east overnight and into Wednesday morning.

We continue to remain protected from severe storms on the cool side of the front Wednesday:
There is still no organized rain, but continued showers for the rest of the week. The best threat of rain will return both Friday and Saturday evenings. Much like last week, we should shake this pattern on Sunday.
