One More Washout Then Improving For Mothers Day

One More Washout Then Improving For Mothers Day

Thursday May 5 – Cinco de Mayo still feels like March as temperatures remain in the 50s. We remain stuck in this cool and damp pattern, which will bring one more storm likely to wash out our Friday, then we may turn the corner.  The slow moving Low pressure will move into Maryland from off of the Atlantic. From there, it may get stuck over the Chesapeake and then just fade away over the weekend as we wait for a cold front to arrive on Mother’s Day. That will help to shift the wind and bring in warmer air next week. But we still have rain to deal with.

  • Saturday- The threat of showers will linger
  • Sunday: A morning shower is possible, but temps will recover to near 70°F in the afternoon.
  • Next week- Warm temps return
