Still In It: More Storms Then Chilly Rain Thursday

Still In It: More Storms Then Chilly Rain Thursday

Tuesday May 3 – After the impressive hail producing storms Monday and some local flooding, there is lingering rain and some fog. We are still in the thick of it, even with some breaks mid day. Another round of showers and storms will fire in the mountains and move east by this evening. It should not be as vivid as the last round, but still may chase games off the fields. This will be followed by an unseasonably cool pattern on Thursday. The maps below help tell the story.

*Please check back by 10 AM for a look at some of the top photos from last night’s storms.

Outlook:

I am not fully convinced about Mother’s Day Weekend yet. The warm up is based on the trough on the East Coast departing in time, but they tend to have a mind of their own. Please take this weekend with a grain of salt as showers could linger and the forecast is subject to some adjustment.
