Friday April 29 – The weather pattern is dominated by High Pressure in eastern Canada which is pushing an easterly wind off the ocean our way. The net result is this cool and damp weather pattern, while impulses of energy send showers our way. There will be a band passing along the Pennsylvania and Maryland border this morning with rain lingering most of the day if you are riding northeast towards Bel Air and Philadelphia. Showers or drizzle around central Maryland, but it’s all about the chill holding in the 50s.
Baltimore only received 0.14 inches of rain yesterday, but we still expect 2 inches or more by Monday.
The next band of rain will arrive with a larger storm over the weekend. Low Pressure will pass through central Maryland, and the good news is that the heaviest rain will fall at night. This will at least shake up the wind and allow warmer air back in. Check out the timeline below.

If you are wondering about the Os game, it looks like showers will develop after 8 PM. So there could be some delays. Even if it’s not heavy, plan on possibly getting wet.
Chilly Afternoon: Temperatures
Reminder that you can cheer up by eating at Chick-Fil-A in Westminster between 4 and 9 PM. It’s part of my Wind for Change fundraiser and goal to get a middle school teacher to cut his hair like a pineapple.
