Sunday April 24 – After a cool start to this Sunday, we will have a mild afternoon filled with sunshine. The week ahead will bring severe weather to the central US, but we will get a surge of warm air during the next few days and showers in a diminished form. - The prime time for showers will be Monday evening through Tuesday. Then again on Thursday.
- Next weekend will be another nice couple of days
- A larger, stronger storm will arrive for the early part of next week.

We have a tendency to end up warmer that first forecast with many models in spring surges. Compare the NAM Model to the GEFS Ensemble Outlook. We have a chance to reach the 80s early this week.
