April 7 2016 – Rain is on the way in and could be heavy this morning. There will be a break, but more showers and T’Storms this afternoon. At least it is warmer and the spotty showers should allow the Orioles game to play, but there could be a delay. Winds today will gust to 45 mph and push high water up the Bay, then colder air returns with snow Saturday and record cold Sunday morning. Here’s a look at the maps with more notes.
Simulated Radar: Today
A break mid day, but more showers and T’Storms this afternoon and evening. Those will be more hit and miss.
Wind Advisory: Delmarva
The strongest winds will be this morning

The strong winds this morning, but still pumping in rain and storms this afternoon.
Saturday Snow –> Slider
The core of this clipper will pass through central PA. Snow could be a travel issue in the Poconos and metro New York. We will have snow showers most of the day. Locally we should not expect much stickage, and if the snow does lay and stay, it will be on the grass. I will have more details and any accumulation maps tonight. The record cold Sunday morning might be the biggest story of the weekend.
[metaslider id=36047]Sunday will be sunny but cold, then slightly warmer with rain arriving Monday morning.
Temperature Outlook:
The record low Sunday in Baltimore is 22°F set in 1985. It looks like another hard freeze will threaten early sprouting fruit crops.
