January 15- I know, here we go again. A winter without much winter (so far). We hit 50°F at BWI and this storm is bring us all rain. In fact the second piece of energy that will inevitably bring the cold behind the storm, will only proved a chance for flurries or snow showers. So let’s focus on the here and now. Whether you are out to party the weekend, or just planning the noise outside your window, there is some heavy rain passing through. But this is a quite overnight event, that should be done by morning. The bulk of the rain will be on the Eastern Shore.
Totals in the heavy rain zone will be 1/2 inch to 1.00″ of rain. All should be gone by morning. So this fast pattern proves itself again (thanks El Nino). Saturday will not be bad at all now. Sunday… the cold air returns with flurries or snow showers.
