Thanksgiving this year will start with a full moon. The Beaver moon actually turns full at 5:44 PM this evening (Wednesday), so if the kids are a little extra crazy heading into the holiday break, perhaps you can blame that. A clear sky will allow that bright moonlight to take us into Thanksgiving Thursday. The holiday will expand on our warm up, which usually ends up warmer and longer than we first suggest. Two days in the 60s for us, while a snow and ice storm will develop between Colorado and Texas. But there will be rain and a return to normal this weekend. However, the main sure of our rain will hold off until next week. The storm that evolves will bring even more snow to the northern plains, but this time Chicago might miss it.
Here’s the quick view of the storm timeline starting with Friday. I’m showing the Canadian GEM Model for the first time in a while because of the cold air pattern out west. We will stay on the warmer side of the main storm track this time (again). The temperature outlook for Baltimore is below.
