The weather map looks complicated today and we will get hit twice from two different directions over the next two days. I’ve posted two separate radar simulation sliders below to break the rain down by hour for you. Winds around High Pressure today will pushing in moisture from the southeast off of the Atlantic. These will move ‘up the Bay’ during the day, with drizzle or showers in the afternoon. The second wave will be from the southern storm along the Gulf Coast and will arrive from the west. This will be here by Thursday morning. At this point it looks like remnant thunderstorms are possible and could last much of the day. The heaviest should be mid day, and move out by the evening commute. The remnants of the blizzard and initial round of severe storms/tornadoes will be passing into the Great Lakes. It will miss us, but help shift the pattern to much colder air this weekend. Yes, flurries still possible Saturday night and Sunday.
