Nov12WeatherMapThat storm that has been making headlines with blizzard conditions and tornadoes in parts of the central US will have a small impact on our weather today. A band of rain on the warm side of the storm will swing through this morning, and push in mild air with it.  The rain itself will be fading away and have trouble past the mountains, and definitely crossing the Chesapeake Bay.  The other part of the storm will bring the cold air and upper level energy Friday into the weekend. I expect cloud to linger with the cold air and perhaps flurries on the north side of Baltimore. More on that later.

I promised a quick look at today’s rain, so here it is.

Afternoon Temps:

A warm day again in the 60s, normal high is 58F. Friday will be in the 50s, but falling during the afternoon. Then only in the 40s on Saturday. I will talk about that later this morning.
