Peak fall foliage colors this weekend are prevalent across southern Pennsylvania and central Maryland. Many of these photos were collected Saturday October 24, which is why I labeled this Part 1. These 10 pictures demonstrate the colors well, but the second half of the weekend may present another round and thus part 2 to follow. I hope you have had a chance to see the scenery yourself. The peak colorful trees will spread south and east across metro Baltimore and Annapolis over the next one to two weeks. Thanks to all that contributed, these are in no particular order. Also see the colors from the air via drone video.  Scroll to to the bottom of this post from Patrick Bell in Howard County.

This first tree I captured in Loganville, PA. In person it looked like a flame with the deep orange leaves on the outside, but interior leaves were still yellow. It was hard to duplicated the color structure and maintain the integrity of the view. Always a challenge to capture nature and gives me even more respect for talented photographers.
