Screen Shot2015-08-07 07_23_09A hint of autumn in the air. It is not really chilly, but cool and the light rain across most of Maryland. There are a few areas of Low Pressure passing to our south that will linger off of the coast Saturday. That will keep the northeast wind in place, which is pleasant inland, but chilly on the beaches with more beach erosion. Once this passes, a pleasant Canadian High Pressure will build in with cool mornings and warm but dry afternoons for a few days.  Only one shot of rain next week and most of it will be at night.  See the timeline radar simulations below.

On a personal note, my Trek Across Maryland starts Sunday morning from the summit of Wisp in Garrett County. Temps might be in the 50s and highs in the mountains Sunday between 75F and 80F. Perfect for my team. I hope you track us all week and help support Cool Kids Campaign. GREAT NEWS! Last year we reach $14,000 raised during my last day of the trek (finished close to $24,000). As of this morning, we are about to hit $14,000 and still two days before we begin. Thank you al who supported us so far. We are racing to upgrade my website here and trek page by the end of today.
