Heat returns today then more storms on the way

The burst of storms last night would stand out on their own for flash flooding and even lightning that may be responsible for multiple fires around Bel Air. But it just fits with the last five weeks of routine weather events.  In fact the same area between central Baltimore and Harford Counties was shown to be the target in most events last June. Today we get a break from the rain as we aim for a high temperature at 90F or above. It has been two weeks since Baltimore hit the 90s on June 23, which itself is a rarity. But the pattern of rain will ensue, with another front that might develop a new Low Pressure center overhead as it passes by. That will only enhance the rain. Here is a look at the simulation, followed by a separate look at the weekend. Saturday should start us off clear and dry with High Pressure, but yet another hit from storms arrives Sunday afternoon.
