Tuesday September 14 2021
We remain in this late summer humid pattern, along with some smoke in the atmosphere from western wildfire. That is why the sun has been more of an orange shade.
Today more clouds will keep temps a little lower however the humidity will still be a bit sticky.
The main story on the map is Nicholas. It briefly reached hurricane intensity before hitting Texas last night. It is back to a tropical storm and slowly rolling through the Gulf Coast states with heavy rain.
Some of that moisture will pull up a cold front we get in a few days, but it will not be like the last event.
