Refreshing is the best way to describe our current weather. The cooler air that moved in yesterday, really settled in this morning. This break from the heat will not last long, as it is still July. We will be back to the 90s by the end of the weekend and next week.

Your weekend plans outdoors may only be impacted Sunday by a risk of showers.

High Pressure is in control, but that is also the source of the upper level winds from the Great Lakes with clouds.

We will be dry, until the end of the weekend when showers and storms will make a return along with the heat.

Those winds are carrying clouds from the Great Lakes, mixing in across our sky this morning. That filter of the early day sun may help if feel cooler.
