I hope you made the most of yesterday. My daily squeezed in every ounce of sun with morning baseball, then yard work, then 18 holes of golf. Today will be different, and our plans are indoors if that helps you make your decision.

Clouds has moved in as seen here between 6 AM and 8 AM. If you are still seeing the sun in Southern MD on Delmarva and the beaches, the clouds are on the way.

A band of rain is moving through the mountains and will reach us this afternoon. It is not wet organized, but has enough support to expand along with some thunderstorms.

This NAM 3Km model is the most aggressive with the rain. If brings it into metro areas by mid day, but slows around the Bay.

Some thunderstorms will develop during the afternoon.

Highs may be just for the rain arrives. Near 70ºF for metro areas, but falling into the 60s, and even 50s just west where and when it turns wet.

This is the final chance for NASA to launch this mission in this window. More than one week of delays for weather at Wallops Island or over the viewing location in Bermuda. If it happens today, most of us will not get a chance to view it. However, if there is a chance after 8:04 PM, I will post a link to watch the broadcast.

Sunshine State Of Mind

I am done with the cold and snow (for the season). I am embracing my wife’s mantra of Sunshine State of Mind.

This was designed by Shannon Berk and we will be wearing it through spring and to the beach.
