If you were up early this morning for the Space X Rocket Launch, then you may already know… It is clear and chilly this morning. The launch was a success with Crew-2 safely on the way to the ISS.
You would have had to squint to see the vapor trail. It was not the same as the March event as it was higher in the sky and brighter. But, Samiuddin saw this in Ellicott City:

James Willinghan captured these 4 images and annotated where the small vapor trail was seen.
This morning’s #SpaceX Dragon Crew-2 launch from Elkridge, MD. Definitely better to the naked eye. With the Sun rising and the sky brightening it was difficult getting any kind of long exposure images. @JustinWeather pic.twitter.com/nUDGLusbM4

Sunshine Sate Of Mind
I am done with the cold and snow (for the season). I am embracing my wife’s mantra of Sunshine State of Mind.
This was designed by Shannon Berk and we will be wearing it through spring and to the beach.
Double Benefit: Proceeds will be split between our nonprofit Just In Power Kids and the development of my new weather website. That has been scheduled to be ready to launch in May.
