Saturday April 3 2021
A clear sky and light wind allowed temps to tank last night. The numbers on the thermometers were out of the ordinary for early April, and it will be a gradual climb today. The good news is that temps continue to climb for Easter Sunday and early next week.
Morning Surface Weather
Most of the US is rain and snow free this morning. We have a large area of High Pressure in control of our weather, but we still may mix in more clouds to dim the sun later.
Morning Temperatures
Check out the low temperatures this morning. Baltimore’s BWI did not get to the record of 27ºF, set in 2013. But it was close.
Meanwhile mid to lower 20s dominated inland areas, and even some parts of interior Delmarva!
Weather Almanac
Normal Low in Baltimore: 39ºF; Record 27ºF in 2013
Normal High in Baltimore: 60ºF, Record 88ºF 1963

Sunshine Sate Of Mind
I am done with the cold and snow (for the season). I am embracing my wife’s mantra of Sunshine State of Mind.
This was designed by Shannon Berk and we will be wearing it through spring and to the beach.
Double Benefit: Proceeds will be split between our nonprofit Just In Power Kids and the development of my new weather website. That has been scheduled to be ready to launch in May.
