Wednesday March 31 2021
A mild start to the day with rain on the way. The wet weather will arrive in metro areas around mid day, then a surge of heavy showers with some thunder overnight.
The cold front will arrive early Thursday, which will drag in some wet snow to western Maryland and suburbs near and north of Baltimore. This will be followed by two mornings below freezing, then we bounce back to 70ºF next week.
Morning Surface Weather
A large band of rain will be arriving mid day. The cold front will sleep it through tomorrow morning.

I wanted to show this in motion to give the full effect. We may briefly get close to 60ºF, but most of today will be in the 50s.
Tomorrow morning will be windy and chilly, but we do not get below freezing locally. That is important with any falling snow.

Yes, this is the legit forecast from the GFS Model.
Based on the surface temps, if there is any stickage locally it will be mainly on the grass and car tops.
Western Maryland and central PA will be colder. This region could get snow even on the roads. Totals will be between 3 and 5 inches with snow showers into the afternoon.
