November 2 Morning Flurries And Wind Advisory

Monday November 2 2020

Some of the snow has reached local areas. If you saw my report yesterday,  I showed the upper level energy that made this possible. I am still in Garrett County on my snow chase trip, but this is more interesting.

The flakes arrived around 6 AM in the form of flurries and some snow showers into southern PA and central Maryland. This may be enough for light coating, and a signal of the strong cold winds this morning.

Local Snow This Morning

There may be a coating on the mountains in northern Frederick County and by Ski Liberty in PA. A dusting on the grass and car tops also possible in Carroll County.

Cold Winds and Lake Effect Snow!  Some of the streamers have been pushed over the mountains to bring those flurries this morning.
