Two Warm Days Then More Rain Friday

The last thing you might want to hear about after just ending one storm is the next round of rain. So before we get to that, we can look forward to two warm days reaching into the 70s.

We are in an active pattern and the signal is learning towards a colder pattern this weekend into next week.

The sky cleared and I hope you got a look at Mars in opposition. High Pressure is in control, but there could be some high clouds mixing in later today from that system to the west.

Friday: Turning Rainy

At this time, it looks like a frontal boundary will stall with Low Pressure during the day. Rain showers may start in the morning, but the steady rain is more likely in the afternoon and evening.

Rain on Friday will move out by Saturday morning. This will be followed by cooler air for the weekend.

Look closely at the blue: That is where snow may fall in New England. I believe we will get a Mount Washington snow accumulation photo this weekend.

Note: The rain from the last event was 1.41″ at Baltimore’s BWI. That was a little less than forecast. Something to consider as we look at the next rain total.
