A cold front has shifted our winds from the north, which will make today 10 to 15 degrees cooler than yesterday. Below is a quick look at our weather forecast.
But first, the main focus continues to be on Hurricane Delta. Winds have returned to 100 mph this morning as it passes over warm water in the central Gulf of Mexico.
This is forecast to become a major hurricane again today, then target the Louisiana coast Friday. Storm Surge and Hurricane Warnings are in place for the same areas that have been hit by multiple storms this year. The rain from Delta is expected to reach our region Sunday by afternoon into Monday.
