For some areas of Maryland, it has been dry. So any rain is needed rain. Others are already soggy, so what is on the way is not welcome. The rain on the way may range between 0.50 to over 1 inch by Wednesday morning when it ends.
So far today, we have had rain in two main lines: In the mountains and along the Bay/Delmarva.
Here is a quick look at the set up, new rain timelines and forecast totals.
Weather Set Up
The cold front is slow moving because of developing Low Pressure that will ride up along it. This is what is expected to enhance the rainfall overnight as this system crosses central Maryland and The Chesapeake Bay.
Temperatures
BWI continues to be the warmest in the region at 81ºF
Look at the 46F in Garrett County. Quite the contrast in Maryland.
