The last two days both reached 98ºF in Baltimore at BWI. Similar afternoon heat will remain for at least two more days, but along with higher humidity. The result will make it potentially dangerous for some groups to be outside in the afternoon and evening hours. Heat Index values will reach between 100ºF and 110ºF in all areas where a Heat Advisory and Excessive Heat Warning are issued. This begins at noon today.
Morning Set Up
There have been some showers in the mountains that will add to morning clouds for some areas. This satellite loop shows the motion, which will repeat with storms this afternoon: They will slide to the southeast.

Monday Morning
Looking Ahead
The increase in humidity will eventually lead to more clouds and storms. That will lower the afternoon highs, but bring in more active weather Wednesday and Thursday.
Temperature Outlook
The peak of the heat should be Monday, but the pattern will not be noticeably improved until the end of the week.
Records?
That will be tough to challenge with some of the hottest already set on those days
