July 11 Weather Fay Fades And Our Heat Returns

Saturday July 11 2020

Post Tropical Storm Fay has reached the border of northern New York and Vermont. The National Hurricane Center has given the last advisory at 5 AM as the storm is degenerating. Winds were 35 mph and it was moving to the north at 17 mph. What’s left behind for this weekend weather and next week is a return back to the pattern we had before: Heat and scattered storms.

There is a chance for a few scattered storms. The chance if about 30%, so most will not see anything develop. Just keep an eye to the sky between 3 to 8 PM.

Temperature Outlook

I guess we can call this a heat wave. It will not be oppressive, but continued days with highs in the 90s. This most product has consistently projected temps a little cooler than verified.
