The best thing I can show you this morning is the satellite image just after sunrise. This a large part of the eastern US cloud free. This is early July, so you might imagine it will be HOT! The good news is the break in humidity for a little bit as High Pressure in the Great Lakes keeps the wind flow form the north and northwest.
Heat Wave: The next week will be the hottest stretch of the year, but nothing out of the ordinary. Some isolated showers may still generate from New England and flow down into Delaware, with only isolated storms popping into the July 4th weekend. But most of us will stay dry, which means you may want to set the sprinkler or water your lawn and garden.
