June 30 2020
A slight drop in humidity is the most noticeable weather item this morning. If you live in central Maryland to norther PA it feels nice. Farther south and to the beaches its still muggy. The risk of rain this week will be scattered, meaning some get in and many don’t. I’d consider setting up that sprinkler or planning to water your garden and lawn.
We are watching a closed Low off the coast of Maine which is sending the winds from the north, but may also help to spark some showers in the northern part of our region this evening and tonight. The heat and humidity will return for the July 4th weekend, meaning a little heat wave is possible.

Looking Ahead This Week
The green shading is a broad brush of ‘potential storms’, but not all will see them. This is still a ‘scattered shower’ type of event.
Temperature Outlook
This model collaboration may be missing the mark on the heat wave potential.
We could end up in the mid 90s this weekend into next week.
