June 19 Weather More Storms This Afternoon But Nicer At The Beaches

Friday June 19 2020

The winds have shifted. We still have the ghost of that upper level low affecting our area, but it is a shell of what it once was. The location has shifted our winds to the southwest. This will pump in more humidity and focus the developing storms in metro areas back to the mountains. The farther east you go across Delmarva and the beaches should get a nice day.

We should see less storms by Father’s Day, then get into the 90s early next week.

Rain/Storms

There has been some showers this morning, but they are losing energy with the coolest part of the day. This will resurge with afternoon heating and bring in the higher chance of storms across central Maryland and PA.
