That cut off Low has wondered north across the Virginia and West Virginia border. We are in the warmer and more humid flow from the Southeast around it, which has provided widespread drizzle and fog this morning. However, there is some dry air that allowed for the sun to reach the beaches.
The atmosphere is unstable, which will develop more clouds this morning. The drizzle should stop, with breaks of sun, but rain showers will follow. Those will be hit or miss, and nearly impossible to confirm who will get wet until they start to form. This is a day to just expect a shower, but possible you may not see it if it tracks somewhere else.
The trend will be warmer and more humid with developing showers and some thunderstorms each afternoon through Father’s Day.

The models will not pick up on every showers that forms. This is just to show that we could have some thunderstorms and the flow will be from the southeast.

My ‘bonus’ daughter made this map of Maryland a few years ago. We brought it back for needed positivity. Now on her pick of tanks, and this cool Maryland T for men or women.

That upper level cut off Low will fade away but still influence our weather through the weekend. The theme will continue with scattered showers and storms mainly in the afternoons. That is the pulsing of green you see here in this forecast loop.
