The weather this morning starts off cool and crisp by June standards. While this may seem uneventful, we look to Tropical Depression Cristobal well to our southwest for influencing our weather this week. That storm will make the very rare track north towards Wisconsin, where it may actually strengthen into a Post Tropical Storm for central Canada. I am not sure if that has happened before.
It will not directly hit us, but it will shift the jet stream and bring back the hot and humid air this week.

National Hurricane Center Forecast
The expectation is for flooding along the Mississippi River Valley. Then the storm will interact with a strong cold front and intensity to a post tropical cyclone entering central Canada.

We will not get a direct impact from Cristobal. But we will get a return of heat and humidity mid week. That same cold front that is expected to strengthen Cristobal will reach us with strong thunderstorms Wednesday into Thursday.
