This morning’s weather is more humid and the fog reaches farther inland that before. The Dense Fog Advisory remains in place for much of Delmarva through 10 AM, but the clouds will be more dominant for all of the region. We will add in a few showers this afternoon, then more rain and storms over the next few days, but there may be a lot less Saturday, then a marked drop in humidity Sunday.
Storms are also an issue for the planned Space X Falcon 9 rocket launch from Cape Canaveral, FL. This will be the first to carry US Astronauts in almost 10 years. A look at the Florida weather and where to watch the scheduled launch online is below.

Visible Satellite Snapshot
A bit different than yesterday morning, the low clouds have pushed farther inland from the Bay and blending in with widespread cloud coverage. It is more humid and you will feel it for sure.

‘Chance’ of Showers
This is NOT perfect. It should act as a suggestion for the development of showers around central Delmarva moving north and northeast. Parts of central and northeastern Maryland into southern Pennsylvania may see showers as well between 3 and 6PM. The main rain risk will be in the mountains and western Virginia. This will reach us tomorrow.

Rocket Launch: Space X With 2 Man Crew from Cape Canaveral, FL
Low Pressure near the Georgia/South Carolina border has a tropical hint to it. Bands of rain are forming and being pulled in from the south.
This is scheduled at 4:33 PM and there will be a risk of thunderstorms near or just off shore. The rain is not the issue, lightning is! I will have a more in my next report.
