We are still under the influence of a chilly upper level Low and lingering showers. We should dry out today with a cool breeze, then get a few more showers Tuesday as temperatures remain 15 to 20 degrees below normal.
The big story this week may be a severe storm outbreak on Thursday. They upper level pattern is timing out with prime heating to possible bring a line of heavy rain and possible dangerous storms. See the set up below.

Looking Ahead
Thursday afternoon will bring a potent upper level Low through the Great Lakes. The line of max vorticity shown here at 2 PM represents the strongest upper level winds and wind sheer arriving during the peak afternoon heating hours. This will be worth paying very close attention to for any developments or enhanced outlooks.

Temperature Outlook
We should be getting back to the 70s with sunshine this weekend. For what it’s worth, that is seasonable, so we should be there under normal conditions.
