April 18 Weather Soggy Start The Sun On Sunday And More Rain Next Week

We are in an active weather pattern that missed us all winter. Just imagine if all of this was snow. Hmmm. But instead we are in April and have chilly rain every few days. This morning we still have a band of rain that will slowly drop south and east. It should be ending during the morning and bring in a few breaks of sun.

Sunday will start chilly and some local areas will have another round of frost or a hard freeze. But the afternoon will turn out better. Then another storm system will move up the coast on Monday with more rain for the southern half of our region.

Doppler Radar Snapshot

Showers will be ending soon for metro Baltimore and southern Pennsylvania.  Steady rain will las a few more hours in Southern Maryland between Annapolis, St. Mary’s and the lower Eastern Shore.  The rain should push away from Ocean City shortly after noon.

Frost Advisory Freeze Watch

The Frost Advisory is for southern Pennsylvania. But I expect it will be expanded into inland parts of central Maryland.   The Freeze Watch includes Frederick and Hagerstown in Maryland then down the I-81 corridor.
