Tuesday Evening Update March 24 2020
This was the weather pattern we were waiting for all winter. Another system is on the way and it will be chilly. Perhaps cold enough for snow in the mountains. For most of us, just a raw day. Under normal circumstances you might wish this was a day to stay at home. So in our COVID19 Quarantine, consider this day a wish granted.
Evening Weather Map
The southern storm will bring rain in before daybreak on Wednesday.

Morning Temperatures
The thermometer may not move much all day. The morning numbers and afternoon numbers could end up the same in many places.
Rain Timeline —> slider
This shows every other hour. The chance for snow may be above 2,000 Ft in western Maryland and parts of interior PA.
The rain will wind down and fade across Central Maryland mid to late afternoon. Showers will linger along Delmarva through evening.
Winds
This Northeast Wind will average 10 to 20 mph and make it feel like the 30s.
Afternoon Temperatures
Cloud Cover
Even though the rain will ends, the clouds will hand through the rest of the day.
Total Rainfall
Most of our area will get between 0.25 and 0.50 inches of new rain. Heavier rain will fall farther south.
More rain looks likely on Friday and into the weekend. I will have a complete weather update in the morning.
