Thursday Evening March 19 2020
Spring officially begins at 11:50 PM. But a summer preview for some Friday then a winter reminder on Monday morning.
This is a quick post to point out the reality of the wild weather ahead. As more elements of society shut down, I hope you can find a way to get outside at a safe distance to embrace the multiple seasons on the way.
Thursday High Temperatures
If you didn’t get the warm up expected, it was this slow moving front stalled over Maryland. The 70s were near Washington DC, Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore, and Virginia. But it will spread for the rest of us on Friday.
Evening Weather Map
Friday Temperatures
Morning: The warmer air will slowly be spreading east and north. If you don’t have it when you wake up, it should reach you by noon.
Afternoon
Rain Timeline –> slider
There will be some showers scattered during the day. It will definitely feel like spring! If you get less rain, there is a better chance you jump above the models and reach 80ºF.
Some showers may include rumbles of thunder in the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures
If there is stickage, it will more likely be on the grass. Perhaps some roads in the western Maryland mountains.
I will have a full weather update posted by 7 AM Monday morning.
