Monday March 16 2020
Today is the start of our new normal for the time being. I will continue to share my weather forecast and as of today it is OK to head outside, while maintaining a safe social distance. That may change, but until then there will be opportunities to get fresh air and warm spring weather. A few days will bring rain showers this week. By Friday, the upper 70s will surge in and I hope we can safely enjoy it.
Coronavirus Tips
I am a meteorologist, educator, and dad. The best I can do is provide you with what I know best. I plan to share some activity sheets for your kids, and some weather education and demonstration videos. I will post them first on my Facebook page, but all will be shared here as well.
The best anyone of us can do is relay on what we know and be innovative with our time and families to help adjust during this crisis.
Personally: If you are a parent like me, having a schedule for your kids might help create a new routine. I will have my 10 and 14 year old boys wake up and get dressed by a certain time. Limit time on devices, daily work for school and instrument practice, and make sure we spend time together exercising. Thought some thoughts
