Tuesday March 3 2020
A tornado hit Nashville, TN overnight, killing at least 5 people. Local schools are closed as they wait for daylight to explore the full extent of damage.
That complex is moving east. While this is the same system we expect today, the showers and storms we get will be scattered and possibly split across the mountains. The first round of rain we received overnight has left wet pavement and areas of fog. Temperatures will be mild today aiming for the lower 60s and our rain will be spread across a few bands of showers.
Behind the system tonight, cooler temps will return. Another developing coastal storm will spread rain and some snow showers Friday night.
