Thursday January 2, 2020

Today has been determined to be the sleepiest day of the year. It’s dark, cold, and first day back to work and school for many after the long holiday. This new year may also have you asking, “Where is the snow”?

The storm pattern is on target with another system coming out of the deep south, but the cold air will retreat to give us rain.  The back end of this storm could bring us a little snow on Sunday, and there will be another chance next week.  The pattern will swing back colder as January progresses. There will be some colder air next week, but it will not be sustainable. The pattern change is farther off in the distance, but the second half of January should be more wintry for us.
